In order to sign up for experiments in the Speech Acquisition Lab, please read the following before clicking on the link below.

• You will need to create an account using your student ID number. If you have difficulty registering, please email your name, student ID number, professor's name,  and course name to speechlab@linguistics.utah.edu.
• Once you have registered, you will receive your login and password by email.
• Please do not copy/paste the login and password from the email; instead, TYPE them! If you copy/paste, you may not be able to log in.
• Before you can sign up for experiments, you must first log in to activate your account.
• When you activate your account, you need to "Edit your course selection". Choose the courses where you would like your experiment participation credited. As you earn credit for participation, you will then need to "Assign  credits to your courses".
• If you do not show up for an appointment and do not cancel at least one hour before the appointment time, you will earn a one-credit PENALTY. Before you are able to earn credit for participation, you must first make up any penalties by participating in additional experiments. For example, if you earn one penalty, you will need to participate in two experiments in order to earn one credit (one experiment to bring your credit balance from -1 to 0, and one to bring your credit balance to 1).
• If there are not any available appointments that work with your schedule, please check again--experiment appointments are added regularly.
• Please send an email to speechlab@linguistics.utah.edu, NOT to your professor if you have ANY problems related to signing up for experiments.
• If you need accommodation of any kind or have a question about accommodation, please email us at least two days before your appointment at speechlab@linguistics.utah.edu.
